A federal grand jury has indicted Brad Daniel Swink, 41, of Bradford County, Pennsylvania, on six counts related to the production and distribution of child sexual abuse material. The announcement was made by United States Attorney Brian D. Miller for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

According to Miller, the indictment alleges that Swink produced child pornography on April 10, 2025. It further claims he distributed such material on January 27, 2023. Additional charges state that Swink possessed images of child sexual abuse from January 2023 through April 2025 and received images or videos on three occasions between July 2023 and April 2024.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Pennsylvania State Police conducted the investigation. Assistant U.S. Attorney Alisan V. Martin is prosecuting the case.

The case is part of Project Safe Childhood, a national initiative started in May 2006 by the Department of Justice to address child sexual exploitation and abuse. The program brings together federal, state, and local resources to find and prosecute those who exploit children as well as identify and help victims. More information about Project Safe Childhood can be found at www.usdoj.gov/psc.

If convicted of the most serious charge, Swink could face up to thirty years in prison, supervised release after imprisonment, and a fine. Sentencing will be determined by a judge according to federal law and sentencing guidelines.

The indictment consists only of allegations at this stage; all defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
