David Feliciano-Seize, a 61-year-old resident of Carbon County, Pennsylvania, was sentenced to 18 months in federal prison for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. The sentence was handed down on February 20, 2026, by United States District Judge Julia K. Munley.

United States Attorney Brian D. Miller stated that Feliciano-Seize attempted to buy a firearm in 2021 but was denied due to his previous conviction for armed robbery. Despite this prohibition, Feliciano-Seize illegally obtained a firearm and, on October 22, 2023, brandished the weapon and fired shots into the air during an argument with his girlfriend’s family. He then pointed the gun at members of her family.

The investigation was conducted by the Pennsylvania State Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Assistant U.S. Attorney Sarah R. Lloyd prosecuted the case.

According to officials, this prosecution is part of Operation Take Back America, which aims to use all available resources from the Department of Justice to address illegal immigration, dismantle cartels and transnational criminal organizations, and protect communities from violent crime.
