The U.S. Bankruptcy Court announced on Mar. 27 that it will implement a new Scheduling Order and Notice of Status Conference for Subchapter V cases, starting April 1, 2026.

This change affects parties involved in Subchapter V bankruptcy proceedings by introducing updated procedures for case management.

According to the announcement, the new order will be entered by the court and will include a required Subchapter V Status Report form that must be filed by the debtor. The court provided access to view the new order online.

The introduction of this updated scheduling order is intended to streamline processes and ensure clarity in handling Subchapter V cases going forward.

Parties are encouraged to review the new procedures before they take effect on April 1.
