A Farmington, Pennsylvania resident has pleaded guilty in federal court to charges related to the sexual exploitation of a minor, according to an announcement from United States Attorney Troy Rivetti.

Nathan Fike, 41, entered his guilty plea before United States District Judge Marilyn J. Horan. The court was informed that on October 4, 2023, Fike distributed videos showing minor children engaged in sexually explicit conduct to an undercover agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. On February 9, 2024, federal agents searched Fike’s residence and found him in possession of videos and images depicting the sexual exploitation of minors. Some victims were identified as prepubescent and under the age of twelve.

Judge Horan set sentencing for June 24, 2026. The maximum sentence allowed by law is at least five years and up to twenty years in prison, a fine of up to $250,000, or both. Sentencing will be determined based on the seriousness of the offenses and any prior criminal history.

Assistant United States Attorney V. Joseph Sonson is prosecuting the case for the government. The Federal Bureau of Investigation led the investigation resulting in Fike’s prosecution.

This case falls under Project Safe Childhood, a national initiative launched by the Department of Justice in May 2006 aimed at combating child sexual exploitation and abuse by coordinating resources among federal, state, and local agencies to prosecute offenders and assist victims.
