A Harrisburg man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for drug trafficking, according to an announcement by the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. Muhammad Adnan, aged 21, received his sentence on July 2, 2025, from Senior United States District Judge Malachy E. Mannion.
Acting U.S. Attorney John C. Gurganus stated that Adnan was indicted alongside three codefendants for distributing methamphetamine in quantities of 50 grams or more on multiple occasions between November 2023 and February 2024 in Harrisburg. Adnan had previously entered a guilty plea to charges of distributing methamphetamine on February 27, 2025.
Among the codefendants, Urias Williams pleaded guilty on February 27, 2025, and is currently awaiting sentencing. Aaron Pitts is scheduled for trial on October 6, 2025, while Aaron Gambino remains a fugitive.
The investigation into this case was conducted by several law enforcement agencies including the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Capital City Safe Streets Task Force, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Pennsylvania State Police, Dauphin County Drug Task Force, and Harrisburg Bureau of Police. The prosecution is being handled by Assistant U.S. Attorney Michael A. Consiglio.
This case forms part of Operation Take Back America—a nationwide initiative aimed at combating illegal immigration and eliminating cartels and transnational criminal organizations (TCOs) while protecting communities from violent crime perpetrators. The operation leverages resources from the Department’s Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETFs) and Project Safe Neighborhood (PSN).
It should be noted that indictments are merely allegations and all charged individuals are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
