Anthony Greene, also known as “Maino” and “Von,” was arrested and charged by indictment on April 21 with multiple offenses related to child sexual exploitation and illegal firearm possession, according to United States Attorney David Metcalf. Greene, 37, of Trooper, Pennsylvania, is scheduled for arraignment before U.S. Magistrate Judge Scott W. Reid in federal court on Friday.
The case highlights ongoing efforts to address the exploitation of minors through online platforms. According to the indictment, between March and June 2025, Greene allegedly used social media to sexually exploit several minors aged 13 to 17. The charges state that he persuaded some minors to produce sexually explicit images or videos of themselves and encouraged others to transmit such material involving minors.
Greene faces two counts each of manufacture of child pornography; use of an interstate commerce facility to entice a minor and attempt to entice a minor for sexual conduct; receipt of child pornography; as well as one count each for possession of child pornography and possession of a firearm by a felon. If convicted on all counts, he could face up to life imprisonment.
This prosecution is part of Project Safe Childhood, an initiative launched in May 2006 by the Department of Justice aimed at combating the growing problem of child sexual exploitation online. The project brings together federal, state, and local resources for locating offenders who exploit children via the internet and identifying victims.
The FBI Philadelphia Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force along with the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office Criminal Investigative Division investigated this case. Assistant United States Attorneys Amanda McCool and Meghan A. Farley are prosecuting it.
Authorities remind that all charges are accusations at this stage: “Every defendant is presumed to be innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.”
