A Morrisdale, Pennsylvania man has admitted to federal drug trafficking charges, according to an announcement from First Assistant United States Attorney Troy Rivetti.

Brandon Kifer, 45, pleaded guilty before United States District Judge Stephanie L. Haines to two counts listed in the indictment. Prosecutors told the court that between February and March 2023, Kifer conspired to distribute and possessed with intent to distribute at least 40 grams of a fentanyl mixture and at least 50 grams of methamphetamine in the Western District of Pennsylvania.

Sentencing is set for March 26, 2026. The statutory penalties include a minimum sentence of five years and up to 40 years in prison, as well as a fine that could reach $5 million. The actual sentence will be determined based on the severity of the offenses and any prior criminal history.

Assistant United States Attorney Maureen Sheehan-Balchon is handling the prosecution for the government. The case resulted from an investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration and Pennsylvania State Police.
