A Philadelphia resident, Roberto Febus, 35, has been sentenced to 78 months in prison followed by four years of supervised release for his involvement in a methamphetamine distribution conspiracy. The sentence was handed down by Chief Judge Matthew W. Brann.
United States Attorney Brian D. Miller stated that Febus conspired with others to distribute more than 50 grams of methamphetamine in Northumberland County during May 2022.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation conducted the investigation, and Assistant U.S. Attorney Alisan V. Martin prosecuted the case.
“This case is part of Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN), a program bringing together all levels of law enforcement and the communities they serve to reduce violent crime and gun violence, and to make our neighborhoods safer for everyone. On May 26, 2021, the Department launched a violent crime reduction strategy strengthening PSN based on these core principles: fostering trust and legitimacy in our communities, supporting community-based organizations that help prevent violence from occurring in the first place, setting focused and strategic enforcement priorities, and measuring the results,” according to information provided by the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
