Laverne Grier has filed a lawsuit against multiple property management entities and individuals, alleging negligence that led to her severe injuries. The complaint was filed on January 7, 2026, in the Court of Common Pleas of Delaware County, Pennsylvania, targeting Nyack & Wycombe, Inc., TDW, LLC, N Property Group, and several individuals associated with these companies.
According to the court documents, Laverne Grier claims she suffered a fall on January 9, 2024, due to hazardous conditions at her residence located at 48 S. Wycombe Avenue in Lansdowne. Grier accuses the defendants of failing to maintain safe premises by allowing water from a ceiling leak to accumulate on a stairway used by tenants. This negligence allegedly resulted in her slipping and sustaining serious injuries including cervical spine damage and shoulder tears. “The defendants negligently created and knew or reasonably should have known existed well prior to the time of Plaintiff’s fall,” states the complaint.
Grier’s lawsuit outlines numerous accusations against the defendants: failure to warn tenants about dangerous conditions, neglecting proper maintenance protocols as required by Pennsylvania law, and not taking adequate measures to prevent foreseeable hazards. She asserts that these oversights were directly responsible for her injuries which have caused ongoing pain and suffering.
The plaintiff is seeking judgment for damages exceeding $50,000 from each defendant involved. The relief sought includes compensation for medical expenses incurred due to her injuries as well as loss of earnings stemming from her inability to work following the accident.
Representing Laverne Grier is attorney Stephen W. Bruccoleri from Bruccoleri Law LLC based in Philadelphia. The case has been assigned an ID but does not specify any particular judge overseeing it.
