Pedro Villot-Ortiz, a 26-year-old resident of Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, has been sentenced to 151 months in prison for possession with intent to distribute controlled substances. The sentence was handed down by United States District Judge Karoline Mehalchick.

United States Attorney Brian D. Miller stated that on July 25, 2025, agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Pennsylvania State Police executed a search warrant at Villot-Ortiz’s residence in Shenandoah. During the search, investigators seized methamphetamine and cocaine that Villot-Ortiz intended to sell. At the time of his arrest, Villot-Ortiz was on probation following two previous convictions for drug trafficking.

The case falls under Operation Take Back America (https://www.justice.gov/dag/media/1393746/dl?inline), a national initiative by the Department of Justice aimed at countering illegal immigration, eliminating cartels and transnational criminal organizations, and protecting communities from violent crime. The operation coordinates resources from the Department’s Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces and Project Safe Neighborhood.

The investigation involved the FBI Allentown Office, Pennsylvania State Police, and Shenandoah Police Department. Assistant United States Attorney Tatum R. Wilson prosecuted the case.
