A Wall, Pennsylvania resident has pleaded guilty in federal court to charges related to the sexual exploitation of minors. The announcement was made by First Assistant United States Attorney Troy Rivetti.
Dylan Weyandt, 34, admitted guilt to two counts before United States District Judge William S. Stickman IV on November 17, 2025.
According to information presented in court, from February 2022 through February 2023, Weyandt coerced two minors living outside the Western District of Pennsylvania into engaging in sexually explicit acts. He did this for the purpose of producing and receiving visual depictions of such conduct. The victims met Weyandt through a social media platform, where he used both praise and threats to convince them to send sexually explicit images and videos of themselves.
Judge Stickman set sentencing for March 23, 2026. Federal law mandates a minimum sentence of 15 years in prison and allows for a fine up to $250,000 or both. Sentencing will be determined according to the seriousness of the offenses and any prior criminal record.
Weyandt remains detained until sentencing.
Assistant United States Attorney Heidi M. Grogan is prosecuting the case for the government.
The investigation was conducted by the FBI Pittsburgh’s Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force with assistance from the Allegheny County Police Department and the Selma (California) Police Department.
This prosecution is part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched by the Department of Justice in May 2006 that coordinates federal, state, and local efforts to address child sexual exploitation and abuse.
