Jonah Allen Sassam Watt, a 32-year-old resident of Dover, Pennsylvania, has been sentenced to 30 years in federal prison for producing child pornography and enticing minors online to engage in illegal sexual activity. The sentencing took place on March 3, 2026, before United States District Judge Jennifer P. Wilson.

According to United States Attorney Brian D. Miller, Watt used multiple social media platforms over several months in 2022 to coerce children between the ages of 12 and 16 into creating sexually explicit material. In some cases, he offered payment for these images; in others, he threatened the victims by saying he would “hack” their social media accounts if they did not comply. When law enforcement intervened, Watt was found with additional child pornography images that included infants and toddlers being sexually assaulted.

During sentencing, Judge Wilson referenced statements from one victim’s mother who described Watt’s actions as “predatory, calculated, and evil.” Judge Wilson also ordered Watt to pay $54,710 in restitution and imposed an additional 15 years of federal supervised release following his incarceration.

The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Luisa Honora Berti.

This prosecution is part of Project Safe Childhood, a national initiative started by the Department of Justice in May 2006 aimed at combating child sexual exploitation and abuse. The program brings together federal, state, and local resources to find and prosecute individuals who exploit children and to identify victims.
