Jashan Moore, 33, of York County, Pennsylvania, was sentenced to 186 months in federal prison for drug trafficking offenses. The sentencing took place on December 2, 2025, before United States District Judge Jennifer P. Wilson. According to United States Attorney Brian D. Miller, Moore led a drug trafficking operation that shipped kilogram quantities of methamphetamine to York and arranged payments through international wire transfers to Mexico.
Moore pleaded guilty to all charges against him, which included three incidents in April and May 2021 involving undercover police purchases of heroin and fentanyl from him. He also participated in the shipment of a parcel containing five kilograms of crystal methamphetamine that was seized by police on June 5, 2021.
Judge Wilson emphasized Moore’s lengthy criminal history and repeated parole violations during sentencing. At the time he committed these crimes, Moore was already on parole with state authorities. Judge Wilson ordered his federal sentence to be served consecutively with his sentences for violating parole.
The investigation was conducted by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and the York City Police Department. Assistant U.S. Attorney Michael A. Consiglio prosecuted the case.
This prosecution is part of Operation Take Back America (https://www.justice.gov/dag/media/1393746/dl?inline), an initiative using resources from the Department of Justice to address illegal immigration and eliminate cartels and transnational criminal organizations while protecting communities from violent crime. Operation Take Back America brings together efforts from Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETFs) and Project Safe Neighborhood (PSN).
Additionally, this case falls under a district-wide effort led by the United States Attorney’s Office known as the Heroin Initiative, which aims to combat heroin use and distribution in the Middle District of Pennsylvania through coordinated action among federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies targeting heroin traffickers.
